RE: Does anybody really know what time it is, engineering divisio n

I love it when our local N/T king, WOKV forgets to switch over to the night
plant (35 miles from the Day plant). They're 50kw NDA days on 690 from south
of Jax in Orange Park/Dr's Inlet, and 10 kw on a eastern-facing cigar
pattern from the west of Jacksonville, FL. It really carries at night with
the 50kw NDA still on.

In our wonderful, world of tomorrow, I think sometimes the computer
can be blamed now. But, of course, some garbage-in sepcialist put those
times into the computer.

And it isn't just in the minor leagues. Once in awhile, I hear WTIC
(AM) mess up its pattern change time. Sometimes they'll go into a new month
for several days and still do it at the previous month's time. Also,
sometimes, at night at least, they forget for as much as an hour or so and
then at some oddball time like 9:38 they'll do it or 8:53 it switches.
