WDEV radio vet. signs-off

Happened upon WDEV (550 Waterbury)//WDEV-FM (96.1 Warren) "Radio
Vermont" this morning. Their co-host of the morning show (Mike ___ of
'Michael & Michaels') is retiring after 37 years in the biz.  Lots of
calls wishing Mike well, Governor, local sponsors, etc.  Great good
bye message by their GM around nine a.m. and by his co-host.  Not sure
if it was for real, but the owner was apparently buying the guy a "big
bed" as a retirement present.

Reminds me of when Jess Cain retired from WHDH and remarked how he'll
miss getting dressed in the dark.
