WICN Transmitter

I was listening today to Carole Sloane on wicn.org, she announced 
that the station will be installing it's new transmitter (to replace 
the one that blew up) on Wed, Sept 20.

Meanwhile, listening over the Internet (they use wpm format) the 
audio is not very good.  It's rather distorted, and has pops and 
clicks. even when it's not a record playing.  I've always thought 
that the distortion that I usually hear on their signal is either 
from multipath or from too much sca subcarier, but I'm hearing some 
of the same stuff on the Internet feed.  I'm using a cable modem, so 
I don't think my connection speed is the problem.

I hope that when the new TX is installed that they can then work on 
some of their audio problems.
