WHUB............

Will concede that point...........but obviously their focus has changed.

BTW very quietly the new MediaOne 3 is showing some ratings
growth........they in the past month have shown a Neilsen of 1.1 for a
LOWELL SPINNERS game, and a 0.6 for Tucker Anthony GOLF.........
( granted a 1.0 only means 22,000 households but it shows once again the
rules are changing)

IF WHUB plays their cards correctly, they could become what WSBK used to be.
WSBK made an effort to be a local station, starting with the Bruins, Willie
Whistle, then the Red Sox, The Movie Loft and Ask The Manager. Channel 56
made inroads with their kids block ( and Dale Dorman), but never to the
extent WSBK had.

It is a sad commentary that outside of news, sports and public affairs, NO
BOSTON STATION makes any effort to be local. No local talk show, no kids
host.......NOTHING.

Radio is just as bad :(
