Bear in mind that, while it's all well and good to post to the list that you
will be attending, if you are e-mailing for Gary's benefit, and the reports
that the CPD confiscated all of his computers are true, then this isn't the
way to get the message to him--and he's the one who should be getting the
RSVPs. I suppose that if you really want the message to get through, you'd
better leave a voice message on the answering machine (I assume there is
one) at Gary's Ice Cream. It shouldn't bother anyone very much that the line
is quite likely wiretapped.

As I said earlier (I hope it was _before_ the police raid took down Gary's
computers), I'm planning to attend--weather permitting--and to bring a
guest. My food item will be sausages. In the light of the developments after
my earlier post, I guess my choice of a food item was, umm, unfortunate.
