I came back from a two week vacation Monday to be told that WCRB has
dumped Metro News. Laura Carlo will read her own news in the morning,
while a newsperson has been hired for afternoons.

Mind you, I haven't actually heard evidence of this on the air yet; I've
only been in Waltham two days this week, and had no opportunity to be near
a radio either day.
