Yes, WEGP is up and running once again under new ownership..... the studio
is well set up in a small suite at an internet cafe in downtown Presque
Isle on route 1. I was up that way a few days ago and helped Tom Barna
(the engineer for the station, as well as WREM the former sister
station) lug some equipnment in including a couple of
turntables. Everything is being run from the transmitter site currently
from other feeds, the on air studio can go on the air by simply dialing in
and soon there will be a microwave link.

Best of luck to the new management of WEGP, hopefully it will be able to
regain it's former audience that it lost while off the air.
