If my dim memories from high-school Spanish classes don't fail me, I beleive Z
is "zeda" (ZAY-dah) en Espaņol.  (it may be spelled zeta; I don't think I've
ever seen it spelled out...just like you never see the spelling of the letter
"H").  Similar, but different.
