I'm also not impressed with the groups applying for the stations. In many
cases they are religious groups and in some cases (but not in Maine), the
applicants are local governments. There is plenty of religion on the radio
already and I don't think government run stations will add much. (See
community cable TV in most communities for examples.) Maybe the NAB will win
their suit.
