Good point, but at least in that case the GM's hypocrisy cost the station
money. In the case described in the earlier post, they took the money and
tried to still look politically correct.
The issue of not accepting certain types of ads is a tough call. Recently,
some newspaper like the Globe have decided not to run cigarette ads and many
papers will not run firearm ads. A private business certainly has the right
to make such judgments, though I think their opening up a Pandora's box when
trying to decide that their readers can be exposed to ads for some products,
but not others.
