Western Mass Storms

At 5pm tonight, as news is starting, severe thunderstorms hit the area.
Multiple outages.

at 5:20, a power hit on Mt Tom knocks off WHYN-FM, WGGB-TV, and WGBY-TV

in Springfield. WGGB remained off as a circuit breaker in their 

transmiiter kept the aural cabinet off. WHYN and WGBY both were back up

within minutes. WGGB-TV took another hit at 5:45 and was off the air

until 6:20pm. WWLP-TV took several lightning hits and fully lost power

at 5:35, but was back up at 5:40, running off generator until 7pm.

(Most of agawam, where the transmitter is located, had no power).
