That should explain the episode of "Mystery Science
Theater 3000" (which was produced in Minneapolis)
in which characters talked about starting a country
radio station and calling it "Frank" (after the
character "TV's Frank"), complete with the motto
"Turn your crank to Frank".

I always wondered when smooth jazz would hit the
Champlain Valley. I've read the Champlain Valley
is the most prosperous corner of Vermont so maybe
a smooth jazz sound would cater to advertisers
and listeners.
