I do not see anything inherently imposed by the CRTC to NOT carry the Expos
on CINW 940...in fact, when the CRTC first approved the all-news concept
back in June, Metromedia VP Brian Kenemy was quoted in a CFCF-TV report that
he thought there could be a way to maintain their liaison with the team,
that WBZ was his inspiration and that they ran a news-clock days/sports and
talk nights format, etc., etc.

An interesting commentary on this same issue appeared in today's edition of
The Montreal Gazette in Mike Boone's column...
