Re: Thursday Night Countdown Chart)

I have heard some songs on the WODS Thursday Night
Countdown which would not necessarily be in their
regular rotation, like the instrumental "Midnight in
Moscow"...but I wonder: if they did a countdown from
the early 70s, would Aerosmith's "Dream On" be on it?
(Can't remember if that was a top 20 song or not...)

I don't think they would do countdowns that are
post 1971, even if some of their songs come from the
mid 70s.

Have heard editions of a similar countdown show from
WMJI in Cleveland. Oh, by the way, when I was into
shortwave a few years ago (not so much these days)
I loved the BBC World Service's "Vintage Chart Show",
a similar countdown--especially since it included
songs and artists not heard here in the US. (And
if a national syndicator would ask Mr. Barry Scott
to do a "memory countdown show"-- e.g., "the hits for
this week in March, 1970", for example, I think it
would be great to listen to. The songs plus trivia
on them!)
