        The Waltham site also greatly improved the signal on the South
Shore, where WMEX used to be extremely weak in the daytime and hopeless at
night when it was 5 kW full-time. The 50 kW daytime from Quincy was good to
the south. But the 5 kW nighttime from Quincy always was real bad just a
few miles to the south. I think that maybe Hingham was about as far out as
it went with an honestly good signal.
