Good summary of what's been happening in radio in recent years.  I suspect 
that the coming of universal Web access and digital satellite services may 
have the same effect as television did in forcing radio to change.  When 
the audience begins migrating to those other media, radio station owners 
will start looking for something that the other media aren't doing, in 
order to attract the audience back.
