He and "Stompin' Zemo" were one and the same. He didn't start at WBOS
until 1982, though, so he wasn't there during the BM, disco, or AC eras.
His Saturday night doo-wop show, "Streetcorner Symphony", aired on WHRB
(95.3 FM) from 1979 until about 1986. His real name is Bruce Werner, and
he now works for American Express Financial Services. For a while he was
producing an "infomercial" program for Amex that ran on WXKS (1430 AM); I
don't know if he's still doing it. 

Every once in a while he fills in for someone at Metro News, so he's not
completely off the radio.
