The sense of urgency to back-sell doesn't always translate to the
preparation as suggested by Donna Halper. We all have Rosie Ruiz to
thank for new and exciting ways to join in late and (attempt) victory.
Not a slam just at WTAG, but just about any station that is not dialed
in with a 'resident' local news human.

The textbook method would be to pot up the bird to reel or DAT then
grab the spot inventory and run in the same daypart another time and
note such on the attestation. The reality? Back to you, Martin! --->

The publicity would be disastrous for the show, and besides, unless a
local interrupts chronically (for less than bulletin reasons) then a
synicator could have a point to make.
