I tuned into "The all new Hot 9-7-7," as they are referring to themselves, 
last night. Didn't hear any mention of call letters or an ID during two 
separate stints listening (45 minutes). The station seems to have a little 
harder edge than WJMN and I suppose they will be going after WILD's audience 
as much as 94.5's listeners.

The Herald mentioned in a short brief today that WBOT's signal doesn't do 
well north of Route 128. That's not the audience they're trying to reach. 
They're trying to reach Mattapan/Dorchester/Roxbury, Randolph, Brockton, New 
Bedford, Fall River, and Attleborough and Providence, with more of an 
emphasis on Boston than anything. I'm wondering if they'll open studios 
somewhere in Boston eventually; the Dudley Square area might be a good bet, 
especially if they want to go toe-to-toe with WILD.
