Gene Rayburn & TV business

1.  Just wanted to add a bit about Rayburn.  Nice guy.  Had met him several
times while a student at U. of Wisconsin in Madison in the 60's.  His
daughter, Lynne,  was a fellow student and friend.  Dated my fraternity
brother.  He visited campus from time to time during the height of his
career.  Maintained a low profile and gracious manner.  RIP Mr. Rayburn.

A month or so of reading will probably be most enlightening re the declining
viability of the TV news business.   Perfect guidance for career/job
seekers/wannabes.  Once upon a time, it was a wonderful land.  New
technology and profit seekers are changing the vista.
