And I've wondered if they aren't running their new day or CH pattern with
the old 500W power during regular daytime broadcast hours. Someone in the
null--southwest of the TX (around, say, Milford) would have to confirm that;
with 500W or even 1 kW, the signal there would be a lot weaker. I'm not
sure, but where I am (Arlington, Belmont, Watertown, Newton), I think the
signal sounds a tad stronger than it used to. Since the new pattern is
centered on an azimuth of 35 degrees, until they switch on the high power, I
won't be able to tell for sure whether anything has really changed.
