cue marks, scratches in the film, hairs in 
the gate, improper aspect ratio (anamorphic 
lens misadjustment), sound synch mis-adjustment 
(loop too big/small), carbons too close 
(blue spot), too far apart (brown spot), 
bad focus, wrong aperture plate, wrong splices 
(picture jumps up/down 1/4 frame),...

Sounds like a Mad Magazine "You Know You've Been
Married Too Long, When..." feature.
Gosh, it's time to put some spice back in the 
relationship.  I've got it - sit in the back 
seat, listen to Mike Finnegan and ignore the 
movie altogether.
