I confess that at the 10:19 break, I dialed the number once to find no
"busy" sig. You gotta think Taylor has his work cut out for him.
Quick first impressions? He seems like a nice enough guy, seasoned
delivery. Doesn't think that he's eager to bait. His "Try spending
some time parenting, for a change" (after school) leaves one to
believe he will lean center/right.
First call went on with a couple of problems, one of which proved they
were NOT in delay (echo squeal from caller's radio). Hope that was
not the lack of a delay unit, but forgeting to punch it online.
Caller one congrats them and reflects upon the "Gene Burns/Jerry Wms."
days....
Call 2.. <feedback squeal>.. introduced as a guy from New York City.
Um, if you're bringing on board ringers to chum the waters (not a dumb
idea) shouldn't one keep their out of ADI location low profile? And,
as I reflect, a new local BOSTON talker...do talk listeners from
Boston really want to hear from a <gasp> New Yorker? Esp. on the eve
of Parcels v. Pats, no less?! <g>
