One Chick Dishes...

WRKO is apparently still trying out new hosts for the
11 pm to 1 am slot (weeknights). Tonight they paired
morning host Darlene McCarthy with ex- "Two Chicks
Dishing" host Lori Kramer. I guess Leslie Gold, her
former partner, is/will be starting a show on the new
all-talk WNEW-FM in New York (with producer Paul
"Butchie" Brennan--and maybe Mike Adams as a co-host?)
and Lori is doing some sort of talk show on the internet.

Lori pulled no punches during a segment where she and
Darlene talked about betrayal. She gave her account
of the unraveling of the friendship between her and
Gold-- even hinting that Gold had been conspiring
with WRKO's then-PD (Kevin Straley?) to dump her
(Kramer) and make the show "The Leslie Gold Show"!
McCarthy also mentioned how she was "the last to know"
when Ch. 56 fired her. Time will tell if McCarthy
and Kramer will get that slot...
