The head of CBC Sports in Canada was talking about the effect the Maple
Leafs being eliminated will have on ratings for the final round in Canada

The Maple Leafs are the beloved home team for the most populous region of
Canada. Alan Clark, head of CBC sports, makes an interesting point in
analyzing this country's population distribution:

"The CBC signal is carried by about 1,700 transmitters, relays and repeaters
across Canada," Clark says. "The transmitter in Toronto reaches one-third of
the country's viewers."
