As for WCCM, it alway has been very Lawrence. They've worked hard to
make that happen. But, first a local radio supporter, I wish them
well. As a Lowell resident, however, Lawrence might as well be in
Toledo! WCCM will need a very strong Lowell identifier to
congnitively restructure the Mill City's point of view, IMO. The 3
day Lowell Folk Fest. will NOT do that. Nor will night games at low
power; after a few listeners swing over to 800 and hear Canadian
interference and noise, they will go back to Brudnoy. Whenever WLLH
Lowell//Lawrence tried to be all things to _both_ cities, it diluted
its potency. LLH seemed to alway do better when they simply picked a
city (happeded to be Lowell) and stuck with it, offering periferal
tosses to Lawrence as it would to any of the contiguous towns.
