CBC gets game on the air........

Hockey Night in Canada did manage to get Saturday nights game on the air.

Host Ron McLean, Don Cherry, Bob Cole and Harry Neale provided their usual
banter. The fact that they were all at a studio at the MCI Arena in
Washington made for a strange telecast. CBC arranged with ESPN for video,
and CBC graphics were inserted in Washington.

SRC carried the game normally.

Still they did better than MediaOne, who could not figure out how to get the
LockMonster feed south of Billerica.
