FCC EAS Compliance Inspections

 Just a quick note to all the radio station chief operators in the area that
the Boston FCC field office is now conducting EAS compliance inspections.

One of my stations had a visit today from one of the inspectors.  He was
checking to make sure that the equipment was installed and operating, and that
the proper tests were being sent and received.  These inspections are part of
the compliance and information action that began on February 1, 1999.
