Re: billboards

Bob, in 1971 the flashing Hot Dog on the Route 1 Bypass (old I95) which
flashed in my bedroom window, spearheaded the drive to outlaw billboards
through put the state of Maine. The signing ordinances now in use through
out Maine practically prevent any business from advertising even on their
own buildings. We in Maine have become extremely anti business. So we have
come 360 degrees on advertising and signage.
