Unlike rap music

Also because for the most part it's music that isn't getting played
anywhere. It's too new for traditional oldies stations, too old for most
Urban or Rhythmic CHRs, and 70s Gold/Classic Hits has morphed into Classic
Rock Lite. So much of this music is being sampled by todays rappers, it
has no doubt sparked interest in hearing the originals.
