As the (protective) father of 7&6 year olds, the thought came to me that a
crawl line to "heads up" parents of a "special report break in follows...."
would have been swell.  But the kids did think it was a commercial, so, as
instructed to do when spots air, my daughter muted the volume (and they
assumed it was an annoying Play Station spot.

True, but my kids do know that it was going on, an unfortunate result of
grown ups -<bust it - politics alert>
