Since we're on the topics of towers in Meffa...question for the techies:

Aren't tower lights supposed to be on 24/7?  One afternoon, while killing
time to pick up my daughter from pre-school, I noticed that the tower lights
on one of the sticks behind the Wellington Plaza weren't on.  Later on, when
it became very cloudy...the lights came on.  Is that through light sensors,
or are they affected by the station changing to a night time pattern?
