I suppose what we get nostalgic for depends on our age. Gene Autry's
Rudolph record came out when I was in kindergarden, so I'm not old enough
to be nostalgic for a Santa with only 8 reindeer.
I don't particularly want to return WMEX to whatever format it had before
the Richmonds took it over, either. But I am rather torn between wanting
to return WRKO to its great days as a Top 40 station and wanting to
restore WNAC. Maybe we can restore WRKO at 680 and WNAC at 1260. I have
no memory of WLAW to be nostalgic about. And if I can have back WXHR,
I'll gladly let the rock fans keep WBCN.
