When CBS did its 50th anniversary show (September 18, 1977), "CBS At
Fifty:  An Autobiography in Sound," they used a clip of Wendy Warren but
the actual newscast content you refer to was delivered by Douglas
Edwards.  She introduced him as if he were part of the cast of her show.
