Where will Cuencavision the present LPTV on 19 go??? As for cable channel
positions, it shouldn't make any difference. Most cable companies aren't
required to and don't plan on carrying any DTV signals. (The FCC should change
that if DTV is going to become a reality) The present plan is to keep analog
and digital feeds up for about ten years and then after that the FCC will take
back the analog channels.
There is a way to automatically tell your "new" TV that Channel 2 goes with
Channel 19 it is pre-programmed in the data stream from the station.

If you want em, better dust off the rabbit ears. This will be a new
experience for most viewers. Digital is not forgiving. Remember the signal is
either excellent or absent; no in-between. No snowy pictures here (or
guidelines for adjustment either) It will be likely they will be upconverting
their Channel 2 and Channel 44 feeds at the outset anyway. It is being done to
keep the present analog licenses. Boston isn't required to be on the air
until, I believe, May of next year.
