Quite a few years ago, I recall a weekender at Magic (106.7) intro a stop
set with "Wish....for better weather?  You got it (cough)"  If not for the
cough, I would have missed the 99.5 to 106.7 gaff.  In the days of
in-your-face liner cards and double-shrink-wrapped wraps, mistakes are not
nearly as fun as they once were.

If you scan Dale Dorman at 'Kiss 108' it's clear that his well defined style
is based on that potential curve ball, albeit staged.  There's an example of
a jock who can push the envelope when all you have left is enough room for a
stamp.  Someday, however, even Dale will be replaced by "Announcer
18.7DX3-2v.01"  Won't that be worth listening through ten in a row for?
