NBC/Mutual

The Associated Press reported early this morning (Tuesday) that Westwood
One will discontinue both the NBC Radio and Mutual Broadcasting News
operations at the end of August.  The last fifty workers will be laid
off.  AP didn't say whether, or if, Westwood One will provide some other
news product to existing affiliates.
