Radio Free Brattleboro is coming

To paraphrase an article which appears in this morning's (7/1/98)
Brattleboro Reformer:

Radio Free Brattleboro, a station planned by local teens and adults, is
planned to hit the air Monday, July 13. Planned programs include
community news, talk, and, of course, music. The station will be staffed
by volunteers who, as I understand it, will be airing anything their
hearts desire... from modern industrial rock to readings of classical
literature.... things "you just can't hear in Brattleboro."  Studios are
located above the Brattleboro Teen Center at 17 Flat Street, and the
100-miliwatt signal at 88.1 MHz is expected to cover the immediate
downtown area of Brattleboro. Should be interesting...
