WJDA in Quincy has been doing Chinese programming on Sundays for the past
year or so, and doing very well with it, given that Quincy is 13% Asian
now... the woman who does it is Betty Yau, and she is from Hong Kong.
Should any other greater Boston stations seek a person to do Asian
programming, a dear friend of mine is bilingual in Chinese and Vietnamese,
and he also speaks English fairly well... it certainly is a growing
community in some parts of Eastern Mass.
