it's tough out there...

So evidently there were technical difficulties galore at WEEI this
afternoon, because Glenn Ordway launched into a conversation about how WEEI
no longer has anyone in charge, how there are so many more commercials but
none of the equipment works, etc.  I wonder if he recalls his first radio
gig, which I believe was out in Beverly?  Perhaps the equipment worked
better in the good old days... But in fairness to Glenn, it's an interesting
point-- it must be very frustrating to have had your spot load increased and
yet the equipment doesn't work reliably... one of his compatriots on the
show observed that obviously the profits are not being funnelled back into
the station...
