I worked with Jack at WJNO/W. Palm Beach,  where he occasionally made
reference to that statement on the air, and even wrote and sang a cute
parody of the same affair.  Jack confirmed that to me personally, face to
face, so I know it's true.  I also think I saw it on TV as it happened.
