No Subject

Subject: WBZ-TV's 50th Anniversary

I looked in my new TV Guide, hoping to find that WBZ-TV channel 4 was going
 to air some kind of special this Tuesday (June 9th) to mark their 50th
 anniversary.

I found nothing!

Considering that they have made a major deal about their anniversary, I
 would suspect that they would have had a special this Tuesday, or,
 barring that, sometime next week.

Are they waiting until September (since the level of Homes Using Tele-
 vision--or HUT--nosedives between Memorial Day and Labor Day and they
 wanted to save any specials until the HUT level was back up?) or even
 the November sweeps (why that late?) to run any anniversary specials?

For their 30th (1978), 35th (1983), 40th (1988) and 45th (1993) anni-
 versaries, WBZ-TV ran retrospective specials either on June 9th itself
 or sometime that week. (Could it appear next weekend?--June 13th or
 14th?)
