Re: Same calls since day 1



May I widen the area of response slightly?  WFEA in Manchester, NH has
had those calls through 11 owners (another NH record) since it signed on
March 1, 1932.

Over in Portsmouth, the WHEB calls survive, but there's an asterik in the
record book.  WHEB AM was also born in 1932 but went dark in January
1991. In the meantime, though, WHEB FM was born in 1964 and still has the
name (though it briefly went to WPFM in the mid 60s).

After that, the next longest NH calls are from the forties (WKNE Keene,
WKXL Concord, WKBR Manchester).
