I highly doubt that Capstar will wind up with the Boston properties. Capstar
is owned by Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst--who also own Chancellor Broadcasting, a
separately run company that owns WXKS AM & FM and WJMN. Chancellor would be
the one recieving the properties not Capstar. However, there is much
animosity between CBS and Chancellor---there has not been a direct transaction
between these two companies since the Telcom bill took effect. I would bet
that another company not currently in the market may wind up with the
"leftover" Boston properties, possibly Jacor or Clear Channel.
