Well I searched and searched in the CAMBRIDGE CHRONICLE of late 1953 and
could come up with only 2 ads concerning Channel 56.

1. Hershons TV store in Central Sq was selling the brand new 1954 Crosley
TV that would get the new Cambridge channel 56 for only $329.95 (21 inch).

2. You could watch Cambridge TV56 at the CANTAB bar while enjoying supper.

 Other than that nothing, and the Chronicle in those days published some
pretty obscure stuff..... (example page 1 Aug 27th, 1953  Ted Williams
fished in Cambridge last Monday)
