Well, back about 1995, I heard this Terry Jacks classic on WJIB. Right after
it, I think, was "Paper Roses". But, I've never heard "A Horse Named
Wildfire" nor "MacArthur Park". Speaking of other bad songs, here is a list
of ones I have heard recently. Most of these were heard on WOCN-FM, WROR,
WWBB, and WJIB.

"Tell Laura (I love her)", "Patches", "Teen Angel" "Pepito the Italian
Mouse", "Mr. Lonely", "Roses are Red", "Rubber Ball", "Wild One", "Elusive
Butterfly", "Knock Three Times", "Alone Again, Naturally", "Brandy (You're a
Fine Girl)", "Shiloh", "Dancing Queen", "I Love to Love You, Baby",
"Laughter in the Rain", "Horse With No Name", "Playground In My Mind",
"American Pie", "Baby, I'm-A-Want You", "I Write the Songs", a lot of Helen
Reddy, "Love Will Keep Us Together", "Morning Train", "Seasons in the Sun",
"Afternoon Delight", "Guantanamera", "Have You Never Been Mellow", "Sunshine
on My Shoulders", "To all the Girls I've Loved Before", "Don't it Make You
Wanna Go Home?", "Has Anybody Seen my Sweet Gypsy Rose?", and "I Love the
Nightlife"

Still, some songs I haven't heard are "Candyman", Julie Andrews versions of
"Blanket on the Ground" and "See the Funny Little Clown" (I am NOT
KIDDING!), and everything by Buddy Merrill. Even stranger, I like ALL of
these songs and own most of them on record (or 8-Track). But, some people
can't stand them. Well, I just hope they all keep getting some airplay
(other than "The Night Chicago Died" - there IS no East Side of Chicago -
only a big lake!).
