The "Subject Line" says it all.
Why doesn't WJIB use the Ship's Bell from the 96.9FM days? Is it
copyrighted/trademarked?
It is something that is NOT irritating to me. I like the authenticity of it
especially living around Massachusetts Bay. You heard it and you knew it was
'JIB.
Of course, it changes every half-hour, and repeats every four hours. It is
probably not compatible with your staff/programming cycle but, hey, it's a
hell of a symbol!
