Yeah!
listeners like the same repetetive things. It makes us feel at home.
Every time I hear "Wooly Booly" on an oldies station,  I wonder why they
cut that BONG,
GONG,
 CHIME or whatever it was---Off the end of the record.
On WABC you always heard it.
Funny thing...my copy doesn't have the Chime either !?..

BTW ----    Canada has several V identifications available,  among them
VE...., VO.....,
and VY.....   I wonder if they inherited these with the Newfoundland
Addition in 1947
or they had use of them already.  Almost all Amateur callsigns begin with
VE
M Street lists; VOFM, VOAR, VOCM, VOWR in Newfoundland. The rest (95%)
begin 
with C
