No.  WBZA was killed because Westinghouse wanted to buy another
station (I want to say KFWB... Scott would know the answer if he were
reading his mail these days).  The FCC was trying to get rid of
synchronous operations at the time, and told them they had to kill
WBZA in order to be permitted the new acquisition.
