A.) Nobody listened....
B.) The expense and upkeep of the AM facility was getting costly...
requiring new transmitters, phasors, etc...not to mention the power bill
that was immediately lowered. I assume that they figure that the
station was not taking care of it's own expenses....and wouldn't in the
future...
